People treat awesome-go as either https://github.com/topics/go or a list where they want to add their project for free advertising. We have a rule where we reject projects which are younger than 5 months to prevent too many low quality projects but the problem is github stars can be bought. Even if we set a strict lower limit on the amount of stars required then what about projects that are on gitlab, codeberg etc.? Please know that awesome-go is a time commitment for people. One can only review so many PRs which add 1-10 github stars projects which meet all the quality standards we have. Please if you want to help improve this list give constructive suggestions or start small and open a PR removing some projects you find should not be here by laying out the reason for each link removed. I'm closing this discussion as a duplicate of #1446 Let me know if you are interested in contributing to make this list better. Then I will re-open this discussion. |

What's the point of a curated list if you list every brainfart ever pushed? I have been going endlessly over items with like 6 stars and unmaintained. Which part of this list is actually "Curated". And why are so many must haves missing. Ory? For example... To name one?
