[Kavita] Request: Toggleable Webtoon Next Chapter Loading

The way Webtoon mode works is excellent, and you guys should be proud of yourselves! We love the perfectly stitched-together images for seamless scroll-reading.

That said, all my users and I have the same complaint: we wish we could turn off the feature that automatically loads the next chapter when we've scrolled to the bottom of our current chapter.

I think it would be awesome to have an option to toggle automatically loading and jumping to the next chapter. And when you have the option turned off, instead of automatically loading the next chapter, there could be a button you could manually press to load it yourself.

This would prevent accidentally automatically jumping to the next chapter before you're done reading your page (happens to me a lot), and it would make it easier to stop reading when your goal was to read only 1 chapter before bed.

I'm not exactly keen on this, but have had the issue where the next chapter loads too soon. I think increasing the scroll into area will likely fix this complaint.

I'm certainly not suggesting getting rid of the feature, and I do agree that increasing the scroll area would definitely help premature loading of the next chapters. I mention the ability to toggle it off because it could widen appeal for users who don't like features that "autoplay" without a deliberate action to start the next episode.

If possible, maybe a good middle ground could be making it so we have to do a more deliberate "pull" to load the next chapter after reaching the end, sort of like the Webtoon Android app does? That would make the loading of the next chapter feel more deliberate and less accidental.

Well I tried a few tricks to get it working with the existing design, but wasn't able to get something reliable. I was also facing this false triggering on a webtoon I started reading.

I ended up adhering to your suggestion of following other app's pull to load type of mechanism. I gave it a spin with some internal testing on my webtoon and feel it's a major enhancement.

You can try it on nightly v0.8.9.38 (do not update your main server, spin up a second server and copy your config folder over, you cannot roll back to stable except for v0.9.0 release).
